That's a great plant, Camille! Nice find.... I haven't got this one yet, though its been on 'the list' for some time. Does your's have any fragrance? I think I remember someone saying they had a nicely fragrant one....
Please post another photo when all the flowers have opened! That's going to be quite a show!

No, it doesn't seem to be fragrant, unless the scent comes when the flowers are a bit older or maybe in the evening. It will probably blast a bud or two since all the phals I get seem to lose a few fews within a few weeks of getting them.
On the french orchid forum, many people have it, and they all say that seeing as the parents of mini mark are very unrelated, the plant does well for a few years before going downhill due to its genetics. That's the only forum were I have heard such a thing. I have trouble believing this, as there are plenty of complex hybrids out there which are perfectly fine! Any thoughts on this?

I've never heard anything like that??? It will be interesting if someone can shed some light on why this might be the case!

UPDATE
Here's an update. The blooms are nearly all open, so it's time for some more pictures! Only 5 buds blasted, and a few of the flowers already open when I got the plant wilted. I think it's because the pollen cap got knocked off on the trip home.

Al, try Oak Hill. I got mine there and it's doing great. Second spike emerging.
