If the plant has a clonal name it is a Dtps., however, without a clonal name it is a Phal. The label on my plant says P. such and such. Either way mine certainly has Dtps in it's background.

Is that simply because of awards?

Hi, I have no idea. The search material I found had no awards listed after the name. The plant is also not registered with RHS.

It really doesn't make any difference and this debate (I don't want to start one) can go on forever. It all boils down to "it's your plant, call it what you will."
