Default Phal bloom

Nothing special, (well...except maybe to me) my first orchid, this one started it all. It blooms every spring, has wonder mottled leaves but sadly never came with a ID so it remains a noid.

It is quite pretty.

It isn't the name but the orchid that counts!

I think there are probably quite a few of us who got our start in orchids with a NoID Phalaenopsis. Yours is lovely!

Lovely noid!!

Even if many people eventually start buying only named plants, I think most people start with a noid, and I have a few that hold a special place in my heart. I'm still sad about having lost my first ever orchid, a Phal noid.
