Phal Nankung's 4:55pm x Yushan Little Pearl
This was just a cheap little impulse buy from Lowe's a few years ago, but it has turned out to be quite nice. It's a good size. It's not quite miniature, but it's fairly compact, and I like the branching inflorescence. Only one branch this year, but last year it had three, but it's quite nice at any rate.

Reason: Corrected misspelling of plant's name in title

Very nice, there's a huge amount of blooms on that spike. The name is a bit of a mouthful.

LOLOL I know right! The 4:55pm part really threw me off. I was like, "wait, is that, like, part of the name of one of the parents?" but that's what the tag says, and I can't imagine a reason to time stamp a plant label, so, I guess so.
And thanks guys!

Yep, it's a valid name, and crossed with Yushan Little Pearl (note spelling), it is registered as Yushan Caro.

Thanks, Ray. I fixed it on the plant's label and in the title of the thread.

That is a VERY nice looking Phal, and so many blooms! I love finding gems like this in big box stores/garden centers, though I'm surprised that yours had a name on it! Interesting name, I really wonder what the story is behind it. You don't put a time in a name without a good reason! I'm going to change the mistake in the thread name for you. (the name that appears when searching the forums)
