The first buds just started to form a week or so ago, so I'm guessing that it'll flower within the coming month. I'll post some photos as soon as there is a fully open bloom! I'm so curious to know what color it will be.

I guess it's always a gamble when you get a hybrid as to how it will turn out, fingers crossed it's a good one.

Given that this hybrid seems to have recently flooded the EU market, I'm suspicious that they may all be coming from the same source, and so look the same...

Interesting that you are seeing a lot of these suddenly. I hardly ever see them at shows here in California. I think mine came from Gold Country Orchids, but several years ago.

Almost there! I hope it will start to bloom in the next 2 weeks, otherwise I'll have to wait a further 2 weeks to see them! (I'm traveling the first half of November)

It looks almost ready, I was surprised when mine opened as the buds still looked quite green and of course were tiny.

I seem to recall Alan Koch of Gold Country Orchids told our local society his Phal. Kuntrarti Rarashati 'Copper State' HCC/AOS plants are stem propagations.
I don't have access at the moment to AOS award data - was the award recipient the late Bud Terrell of Phoenix? Arizona is known as the Copper State for the vast quantity of that metal mined here in the past. Bud was a wonderful orchid, as well as cactus and succulent grower.

And.... it's blooming! It looks very much like yours, maybe less stripes. I took a phone pic and the colors are a bit off. Not sure I like it, I was hoping for more orange like in the vendor's photo. Instead it's an odd muddy orange. I need to see it in daylight, I grow it on my office windowsill so my first sight of it was when I arrived not long ago, and it's still dark outside.

It looks like our plants came from the same batch, mine is still sitting there not really exciting me.
I haven't sold any orchids before, but might get rid of mine. Not sure anyone would want it though. 🤣
