Default phal cornu-cervi's developing its first blooms

i got his guy from orchids in our tropics in early december, and its developing its first set of spikes, gonne be excited in seeing how the flowers are gonna be--quite excited too since itz the first time i've ever had twin spikes at the same time, hehe. wish me luck ^^

one of the spike is just about the broken root, and the other one is quite obvious

thanks. im probably not gonna be expecting flowers until probably part way into summer. these guys are supposedly summer bloomers, but i'll definitely keep posting as the spikes develop

That's really wonderful nick. I just love, love, love, this one
In the last 2 two days I've noticed a second spike on mine aswell.
They don't always bloom during the warmer months. I've had mine bloom in the fall thru-out the winter. It can also depend on when the spike comes up. If your indoor conditions are right - it will bloom anyways.

u are right, my other phals just bloom quite freely year round, but im thinking species might be a little more restricted
