Default Phalaenopsis Monika Schöttler
A new hybrid registered by Schwerter Orchideen, Phal. Monika Schöttler. Between P. Germaine Vincent and P. fuscata, the flowers show the bow-legged influence of the species. About 3cm/1.5" across, I don't notice any scent. This is a first blooming and the general habit may improve, maybe showing the branching of the species, as well as the scent. The lip shows nothing of P. fuscata. The pod parent is violacea x speciosa.

That's a nice rich colour on the bloom, pity there is no scent at the moment.
