Species Phalaenopsis leaves showing small wet spots...

I have recently purchased 2 Phal species. Initially they were healthy,but I found that after a week the leaves showing small spots which expanded further and leaves were showing rotted appearance. I cut the leaves at some healthy point but it didn't help. I have temperature of 40C (max.) and 30C (min.). Is it temperature effect or something else. Please help me to sort it out.

It is likely a bacterial rot such as Erwinia. Cut out the rot again, place the plants in a shaded dry location and refrain from watering for a couple weeks. After 2 weeks, wipe the leaves with a paper towel and hydrogen peroxide. Wait a day or two, then resume watering just the roots, very carefully, no water on the leaves. Keep the plants under observation each day, looking for signs that the rot has returned.

After a few more weeks you can treat the plant normally, though I would still plant to keep it out of the rain and in the shade for a while.

In general, anything that spreads should be isolated from other plants to protect them from whatever the problem is.

From the description, I also suspect it's a bacterial infection. Bacteria acts quickly! Separate the plant from your others immediately. Using a sterile blade, cut away the infected tissue. Once cut off, liberally apply a copper-based fungicide/bacteriacide. You'll likely want to repeat application after about 5 days. If spots return, keep cutting.

Erwinia bacteria are most problematic when it is hot and humid. Your growing area is hot. What is your relative humidity?
