Default not a bloom in years!

Hello...
Today I adopted three new phals from my mother in law. One is in bloom , and the other two seem very healthy. The roots are thick and plump. Super healthy.
However, my mother in law said that neither have bloomed in years! It is funny because she kept all three in the same bay window with sufficient light.
I'm planning on putting them by my east window and watering them with bloom booster to see what happens. Any other suggestions?
That would be awesome if I show the old woman a thing or two!

I very vaguely recall reading somewhere that phals are encouraged to bloom at higher temps. Maybe somebody else can confirm or disprove this.

Actually cool temperatures at night will help a phal set a spike. Maybe where your mother-in-law had them, they didn't get the cool temperature.

I don't know where you are, but some indoor growers crack a window just a bit at night for a few weeks. Or, if you are in a really cold climate, sometimes just putting the orchid near the window at night might help.
