Default Few Phalaenopsis Photos this morning

Nice warm sunny day today, outside temp in the 70s F after a few miserable cloudy days in the 40s F. I did a little bit watering. Many of my plants are dry - found a seedpod aborted from lack of water.

I can't imagine that the Garden of Eden looked much better than your greenhouse, Peter.

Are the variegated Phals naturally occurring, or are they being produced with chloroplast poisons during mericloning?

This Sogo Vivien is a clone - many were made beacause of its attractive foliage. I don't know if the original hybrid were a chance occurrence - or if a variegated aphrodite is in the background.

Frequently I have growers asking me for a mostly yellow plant because of the beautiful contrast. These plants are very slow growing - and eventually don't make it after a few years.
