One of my favorite Phalaenopsis lobbii hybrid.
Blooms better due to neglect.



This is the same plant back in 2015. I still want to mount this because it will grow better. Phal lobbii and its hybrids are best kept dry between watering. Plants get cold damaged easily that many time it can be fatal.

We should see more lobbii and its hybrid coming to bloom soon.

Using Orchidwiz, Charles Baker said 58-75F at night for Phal lobbii.

My greenhouse is kept at 63 F minimum. There are part of the greenhouse that will go down to 50s F. If you grow your plant indoor, you should aim at keeping it at 60 F or warmer. If the temperature will drop to 50s F for a few days - don't water but do light misting. If roots remain wet (when lobbii or its hybrid are in pots) and temparture goes down lower than 60 F for several days - plants may suffer cold damage.
