Default I bought a NOID on purpose

We were running errands today and stopped in Lowes. I wanted to look at pots and see if they had anything different than the regular pots they usually have for orchids. No luck with the pot but I found a Phalaenopsis I just had to have, the blooms are so crisp and clean. The plant is in great condition, seems as though it may not have had much time at the store.

Anyway here is a picture I took in the jeep on our way home. Need to check its roots later, they look good as far as I can tell and the medium isn't wet.

Sorry it posted sideways. There are two spikes with five blooms each and looks like more to come.

Thank you Charles! I only have one other Phal besides a few minis so this is a change in my shopping for orchids.

I love that lip!!! Interestingly, I also went to Lowe's to look for a tiny watering can. I found the 1 last bag of Better-Gro and 2 mini noid Phals in the bargain bin. So much for my no more this year plan.

I really love the lip too, thank you! They had several Phals and maybe they were a new shipment, they just looked like new arrivals, even the tag on the pot was still clean. I rarely look at orchids there as they almost always have old ratty ones and never have bag babies. I have picked up several mini Phals before and they are great little bloomers. I need to stop for the year myself but I have two minis being shipped this week, my bad.

You didn't plan on it, so it doesn't count.

I also love the lip - white on the back, orangy on the front.

Very pretty, good luck with it.
