New bodacious beauty from Big Leaf
I've been cutting down, honest. Sold some on ebay, gave about 30 to the local orchid society auction. I have some breathing room now... so I thought I'd fill it.
This is Natasha 'Maple Bridge' HCC/AOS x Star of Dixie 'Riverside' HCC/AOS
Not only pretty, but such a big flower! The biggest flower of my Phal hybrids. The second picture shows it next to my tetraspis for scale.

If you like that, you need one of these, which has a much stronger fragrance:
Starfish Flower

My gig has been blooming for a couple of weeks now and let me just say...I'm really glad it's outside. Lots of blooms, lots of flies, and LOTS of stink. But it's gorgeous...as is your new phal.

That is a beauty and so large as well!
So many of mine bloom when there is no orchid show and no orchid society meeting to take them to show n tell. I love this forum to be able to share our accomplishments and acquisitions.
