Phal. Joy Fairy Tale 'Joy'
(Ho's Princess Arai X Coral Isles)
Purchased May 2016 from Louisiana Orchid Connection, with spike, bloom Aug 2016.
Flower shows no sign of fading after 3+ weeks. And, it is delightfully fragrant: sweet and slightly spicy.
I had to prop the plant up for this photo, like many phals the inflorescence droops, so you can't just look at the flower. It's facing downward.
Very happy with this unusual peloric Phal!

John at Louisiana Orchid Connection and Peter Lin have several of the same plants available, I've noticed.

Beautiful bloom! I had looked at this plant myself today at Louisiana Orchid, very interesting flower. John is a pleasure to buy from and his plants are always very nice. I enjoy looking at his site. He sells on eBay as well.

So lovely. I have looked at it also. I have never ordered from either but I would like to from both.

I have ordered from both, much more lately from laorchid.com. I have gotten great plants from John (such as this one). Dollar for dollar, I haven't found a better grower to buy from, leaving aside the intrinsic value of plants that aren't easily available (or are not available) anywhere else. I initially found them through eBay but now buy direct. Though I've run out of room for more Phals so am currently in a recovery program haha

Nice peloric, not too obvious. Great colours too.

Well, hang on to it in any case. If this is its first bloom, it might get better and better with age!
