First time this Phal. BeTris is spikeing and it looks like there are two! Excited? Me? YES! FINALLY!!

At this point I think I agree. The root is definite as is the right hand nubbin. The one on the left seems to have the cleft end that signals spike. You should know for sure in a few days. At this stage they come on fast.

Cool beans! I think it's too soon to tell on the 2nd spike?? 1st spikes are sooo exciting! Have you had this since seedling size? How long did it take to mature? Can't wait for

Yes, purchased it (BeTris) late last summer from e-bay. I also have a Phal. equestris in spike bought about the same time. Little thing only has two leaves! Picture attached.
Guess February is the time of year for things to start showing off in Maine!
