My fifty-cent mini noid
This was on clearance at a home center/do it yourself shop two summers ago, no blooms on it so it was a mystery flower. Grew it out over the past couple years and it has finally bloomed.
Like my standard Phals, this one pushed out just the tip of its bloom spike in the autumn, but unlike the others, it just sat there until March, when the spike finally began growing out.
I think he is as cute as can be

Oh yeah, what a pretty bloom and a cute little plant. I have a few of these I picked up a couple of years ago, one just blooms like crazy and it's a harlequin. It's in bloom now, has been for a long time.
I love the colors on yours!

I've gotten a few mystery NoIDs from the big box stores, not as good a deal as fifty cents though! The only 'problem' is that several were duplicates... my daughter was happy to inherit them

A year ago at Easter I picked up a few of the minis at Lowes. They all had colorful little pots and each had a different color bloom. They looked nice on my dining room table. Should have grabbed a few more and added name tags for place settings, lol.

Thanks for reminding me, the $0.50 included the mini ceramic glazed pot. I couldn't say no!
