I think you will just have to wait a bit also. I have a few minis and they are just all a bit different. Some just are like a clock while others aren't. I have one that is kind of not mini but not large either. I dropped it and broke the clay pot it was in. I guess it really pissed it off because it was over a year before it bloomed again. It grew roots like crazy but no bloom until this year.

Then I have another one, has bloomed for me for 2 years then this year so far nothing or at least yet. I wonder if when we buy them in bloom and they are off set from there normal time of blooming in the greenhouse they go for a while then want to get back into a normal bloom season so they may set out one. Just a theory.

Thanks all! Some great ideas in here.

Great catch on the slightly wrinkled leaves. A little more frequent watering might do the trick.

I'll be really really sad if this poor girl is genetically predisposed to difficult blooming. But I'm also hesitant to stress her out to see if she'll bloom in response. Maybe as a last resort!

There's actually a teensy green something coming out between the leaves. Too soon to tell if spike or root, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! My guess would be a root though. =(
