Variegated Phal NOid
Really I've always been to into species... but i do appreciate hybrids if for anything their ease of culture and rewarding floral output... ok, well I do like the amazing qualities hybridizers put together and develop, pretty fascinating...
but in terms of hybrids you can't get any more artificial looking than this phal NOid ... total trader joe's purchase I must admit... really I got it for the variegated leaves and compact growth habit, but with a double spike blooming this time without any problems whatsoever in humidity, temp variation and watering, I'd say it has a special place in my heart...
Could be some sort of variegated Sogo something-or-another...

Same here, if I saw that one, it would come home with me ASAP. I would love to find a variegated Phal that blooms wonderfully.

Absolutely, a NOid hybrid that does not perform is completely pointless to have!
Local trader joe's here in southern california have great orchid vendors i guess... I resist at all possibilities... I've seen den kingianum's in really deep color forms, onc. twinkles, variegated cymbidiums, mini-catts... just snagged a brachy paph hybrid, x Greyi, the other month (it was tagged! and now has a new growth!)... keep thinking I should get one of the den kingianum's but keep resisting... lol...
