Thanks everyone for your help.
I like big hybrids with name tags <sad grin>

I glanced at Hausermann's today. They have a very large number of named Phals in spike right now.

Rex, do you do eBay? If so, you can get many different Phalaenopsis that are named. Several of the vendors mentioned here do business on eBay: Big Leaf is one of them.

Shipping costs are huge for a lot of these. It really adds to the price of the plant, so I usually get 3-4 at a time.

Also, I noticed you were in an orchid society! Maybe you can go in with some members for a large purchase, or go to an orchid swap and trade! You are sure to get named phals that way!

Thank you, Everybody.
Yes, I belong to the Central East Texas Orchid Society, and I am their Newsletter Editor, as well as, the Editor for SWROGA (Southwest Regional Orchid Growers Association), which is similar to the Mid-West group.
I was really hoping to find a source of "box-store" type phals with tags. But come to find out, even if I were to find anything of the sort, they would be "trade names" and nothing real for the hobbiest. I'm not all that fond of the current species, primary crosses that are available, and I knew about them already. So I'm just SOL = shucks out of luck. A few breeders back east are now out of business who used to do my type of phals. I knew about Hausermann's and Carter & Holmes, but even they more often than not are peddling noids from who knows where. Each of them have one or two that are their own clones, and good for them.
Thanks for all the time and trouble to join this thread, and share with me all you knew to offer.
Take care, and may all your orchids bloom like crazy.
Rex

If you want unique Phals that are hybridized by the vendor, contact Russ Vernon of New Vision Orchids. He does his own hybridizing and does some Phals.

Thanks LeafMite. I noticed him, but haven't had time to follow up a bit. Life changes with sick parents (in-laws).
Appreciate you all.

Look up OrchidPhile (on Facebook). Carrie specializes in the new Phals from Taiwan, with names. No web site, you have to get on her mailing list, or attend a show in the Northeast.
