Phal Golden Peoker BL?

Hello!

Bought this Phal few weeks back, had 12 unopened buds and a tag naming it P Golden Peoker BL, I was a bit skeptical due to the price and now that flowers are opening I think my skeptism appears to have been founded..

Any thoughts? I'm thinking it might have some Golden Peoker bl but that ain't a clone is it? Comparing photos to the real thing mine looks like a hybrid that maybe a parent or grand parent was Golden Peoker bl?

If you bought it at a nursery, I would ask the vendor what it is. If they acquired the orchid from somewhere else, you could ask for that vendor and then ask. Sometimes the tags are accidentally switched by customers. Good luck!

I have one like this but mine is a noID. I got it some where I can't even remember now. But I do like it.

The photos I have seen of the clone 'BL' HCC/AOS have more red spotting in the petals, but to some extent, color development can be affected by culture.

I wouldn't write it off just yet, but grow it through another blooming cycle or two and compare.
