Keiki question

all, I had a Phal 'noid' in spike that got crown rot and started to die but before it started a keiki from the spike. The Keiki has well established roots now so do I remove it from the spike or should I leave it alone being that the mother plants roots are in good shape? I would think it should be removed, and if so where should I cut the old spike and should I cut the part of the spike that sticks out the other side? Thanks

you can cut it on both sides of the spike and pot it up that way

Yep, cut both the upper and lower, nows the time to "make it look pretty" LOL

The way you pot it looks a bit unusual, but I guess it should be fine.
