Phalaenopsis Abed-Nego 'Penny' HCC/AOS
This is the first blooming in my care for the first (and only) awarded Phal clone I have ever purchased. I love the nice round shape of the blooms!
I bought it a year ago, but it was shipped a bit soggy and nearly all the roots rotted. I've spent a year giving it much needed TLC, and it now has a healthy set of roots. But that came at a cost, as the 2 leaves it grew in that period are half the size of the previous ones, and the spike produced only 2 buds, one of which blasted a few days before opening.
I'm hoping that next year it'll be fully recovered, and will produce nice full spikes again. There were some dried up spikes on the plant when I got it, and I could see that it had about 6-7 flowers per spike in the past.
