The short answer on culture is basically Phal conditions, except better drainage and brighter light. But it really depends on which Vandaenopsis you are interested in, and they are hardly a new thing. There have been at least 226 Vandaenopsis hybrids registered, going back to at least 1931.
In current classification, the Vanda side could include Ascocentrum and Neofinetia, and the Phalaenopsis side could include Sedirea. In the past Vanda would have included Papilionanthe, and Phalaenopsis would have included Paraphalaenopsis, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. So obviously the best conditions could vary a lot depending on which Vanda and which Phalaenopsis is involved.
For example, Vandaenopsis Summer Stars (without the single quotes, please) it is a much more cold tolerant plant than a Vandaenopsis made with more typical Vanda and Phal parents.
