Hi! It's doing well. I am still growing it, although I haven't rebloomed it yet. I found you don't want to get a lot of water on its leaves either or fungus ensues . I am going to try and increase light to see if I can bloom it! Thanks for asking I did have really great root growth last year

Hilo Lips are pretty finicky. They don't grow well from my experience. I'm glad it's still alive!!

Dolly your Hilo lip is crossed with another hybrid which will make it easier to grow. A true Hilo lip is a harder one to grow. I find it much different than all my other Phals which I have a pretty easy time with and they bloom regularly. Peter lin may have some if you are interested but they have a more stuartiana shape to the flower and they are spotted. Yours is very beautiful!!

No, I wasn't asking but, thank you for the thought. I just noticed the bloodline. The foliage is mottled and until this post, I never gave it a thought. Interesting.
