Noid Phal With Surprise Fragrance
This is a beautiful noid "mini" from a grocery store that has re-bloomed for me. After the blooms had been open for a week or two I was hit in the face today by a strong beautiful fragrance! What a shock. It smells like a flower I recognize but can't put my finger on, very sweet. This is very unusual for a grocery store noid isn't it?

I should be so lucky! I got a bunch of rescue Phals a while back and have 1 left that hasn't bloomed. Here's hoping!

Very pretty!
I see this same one very often at flower shops and super markets here.
None were scented.
You are lucky!

We get a schilleriana cross from time to time that is fragrant. It's always the same clone, soft pink with spots on the lip and lower sepals. I have one (cost all of $10!) and it is blooming again right now. But I have never seen one so colourful that was also fragrant. Great find!
I will continue to stick my nose in the cellophane sleeves.
