That's a gorgeous one!! I would buy it for the flowers alone. But yes, fragrance is pretty rare in the mass produced Phal noid market. Not many species Phals are fragrant, so you have to get lucky to find a hybrid with one of them in its background, and get lucky again that the fragrance genes got to be expressed at all...

We get a schilleriana cross from time to time that is fragrant. It's always the same clone, soft pink with spots on the lip and lower sepals. I have one (cost all of $10!) and it is blooming again right now. But I have never seen one so colourful that was also fragrant. Great find!

I have looked twice at the one AlToronto is talking about. I want one of these for the spotted leaves but now will have to see if any of them are fragrant.
