Hello all! I was just wondering where this type of stuartiana originated?

Same place as where the regular stuartiana came from, Midano island in the Philippines. The nobilis variety has been around since 1881 or 1882. I'm linking this to a page of a ebook that contains an article that was written about the variation in 1882 when it first cropped up. It briefly mentions who purchased the specimen and a description of the plant.

Thanks for the link! It used to be a rare form but most of the stuartianas in the market today is the nobilis. I have been having a hard time finding a decent prized white variety.. The white is more appealing to me that the nobilis.
