NoID Phal. Identification

Once again I can't post a picture..,

I have a sunset yellow Phal. Store bought with beautiful magenta lips all the way around. I am planning to cross it with Phal. OX Lucky Boy 'OX 649' (a mini white with yellow lip all the way around) and wanted to ID the goal before I crossed it.

I know it's frustrating to have to hear this, but even with a photo it's very difficult to ID a store bought phal. This forum has a few stickies that'll explain this much more thoroughly than I can. (Plus. Even if it has a tag, it may not be the correct tag.

For example, I had a tagged Dtps. Sogo Yelin 'Coffee' orchid, my mother wanted one and mail ordered one online out of spike. Hers bloomed this year. It's white, purple and not 'Coffee'. It happens.)

That being said, if you just want to experiment for the fun of it and you don't care that you won't have a pedigree, go for it. Otherwise you might want to look around for another phal that you'd might want to try instead.

TL;DR: I wouldnt hold your breath that you'd get a positive I.D. here, it has happened, but only rarely.

Thanks so much! I was hoping it would make a solid sunset yellow color and no honestly I dojt care about a 'pedigree' I just wanted to be able to ID the cross
