My guess is that the medium is too dry.
Put the plant in the sink and run warmish water through the medium for about 10-15 minutes. Wait 30 minutes and do it again. That should allow the bark to "open up" its structure and hold more water. You should not allow it to dry between waterings.
Knowing that you use 0.5 ml fertilizer per liter is useless without knowing the formula, as well.

I don't know that that is rot ... Do the other roots look ok ?
Roots can get discolored from the bark, or brown from dryness or being dry with hot sun hitting them - and being living things do get blemishes ...

Your fertilizer has a reasonable formula, and at 0.5 ml/L, you're applying about 75 ppm N, which is pretty reasonable for a once-a-week application, so I doubt you have any problems there.

I happen to agree with WhiteRabbit. I don't think it is from being rotten more from dryness. I had a few roots which were laying on top of the bark which turned somewhat brown. I kept them moist by keeping moist bark on top they both turned green. Hope this helps.
