The seller states "May not post to United Kingdom - Read item description or contact seller for postage options."
My
If it were me, I'd set a max price I was willing to pay, bid it and stick to it.
With all the hybridizers doing work with this cross I'm sure at some point your bound to find another without having to pay a fortune.

I would see if any of the European vendors that do ship to the UK have it in your price range. Sometimes if you have dealt with a good vendor, you can call them and if they have it, they will sell it to you.

Ok, so I know someone in Germany and asked for their assistance with this auction your interested in. This is their response.
"Hi Judi,
This is a plant from a friend of mine, plant is situated in Germany.
The discription doesn't tell much, just that the plant isn't flowering right now. Plant is sitting in a 10cm diameter pot and that it is a private auction and that she sends within Germany only.
But no more description or something else "
So it sounds like Leafmites suggestion would be the way you'd have to go to acquire one of these.

Good point about the postage... I'd have to ask the rich person to pay for me to go and pick it up in person, as I couldn't risk it in the post anyway.
Since everyone's replies are more serious than I really expected: I've looked at others of the cross, and this clone is exceptional in my opinion. So finding another as good might not be possible. If I had big money to spend I'd be willing to pay it. Unfortunately right now I think it's highly unlikely I could find the money for it. It's already reached 'more than I should pay on a plant right now' and is not far from 'more than I CAN pay on a plant right now', so hoping for that rich person or a lottery win.
Failing that, if anyone does buy it, please let us know and post pictures when it flowers again!
Do other people like it too?

Rowangreen, I knew you were saying that in a joking way but didn't want you to get your hopes up on bidding on/winning this plant. Sorry for being so serious.
It is a nice looking plant and the flowers are beautiful too.
My favorite out of all that I've seen thus far is Ben Beltons shown here. Tying Shin Fly Eagle (#4)
Oh rich person, where are you????

That's nice but I like the pattern on the eBay one.
I will look out for others of the grex on sale: guess I might get lucky.

Hmmm, well I contacted the seller and asked if he posted to the UK and to confirm that it was the same flower, not a sibling (just to check nothing was getting lost in the translation...) and he's not got back to me. So guess I won't be bidding... Probably a good thing really! His loss though: I reckon it has the potential to go 3 figures (not that I could go that high!)
