Hi, everyone. I was thrilled today to find a 1" spike started in P Precious Stones 'Meier's Gift'. P Stones is one of the newer lacquered "reds"

Got this in a 2" pot from Carter and Holmes in March 07. It was the tiniest thing-- two tiny round reddish-black leaves, app 1"

It did have tremendous vigor and grew all summer.

From 2" leaf span to a spike in 9 months -- one more reason to love phals.

Thanks, shakkai. All praise gleefully accepted

Sorry, can't do the picture thing. I don't have a digital camera. Hopefully, a "yet" can be added to that.
