He is the expert grower. Though he doesn't even bother with names and species even for Dens.

These are photos of some currently in bloom in his home. Excuse the two prolific miniature dens which are grown outdoors.

Debrasoon, no wonder you grow your plants so well...you are an orchid seedling of the orchid master! Please find out what the name of the yellow Phalaenopsis. I have this plant too and I lost its tag.

He will have no idea i am afraid!!! None of his plants are tagged except for those which I have given him! As a kid I used to follow him around the garden as he sprayed his orchids. He retired about 2 years ago and started on orchids again.. and so did I!

Debra, since you and I share Dendrobium now your father and I have the same NOID yellow Phalenopsis. If you get a chance find out if it has a scent. Just as the sun rises, my Phalenopsis puts out a very subtle orchid scent and because it is yellow, it smells like the blossom of a kumquat.

Hahaha ok I will check it out tomorrow. Took the photo today when I dropped by to give him 2 of my NOID phals and the epi I posted and a cynoches wine delight.
