Default Spotty Phal Hybrid - Phalaenopsis Hiddensee

Annoyingly this had a name when I picked it up at a show, but the tag didn't make it into my bag

Love it anyway, it's a level of pink spotting that I had been after for years, some have too much/too large spotting and others not enough, but this is perfectly right for me.

Just lovely!!! Elegant defining. Gives me goosebumps how subjective taste in orchids is, cause we are each unique!

Lovely Rosie!

Such a shame the tag decided not to follow you home

How pretty! It looks like she has lots of blooms for you! If you read this, can you post a pic of whole plant? I'm nosy.

Thanks everyone. I love it despite the missing tag.

I looked all through hubbies photos of the show in case he had snapped this one with it's tag, because the plant had actually been on a display stand for the vendor, but when I said it was the one I wanted they were happy to sell it and replace it with another on the display.

However while it's in a long shot of the whole display the tag isn't readable on that. I had meant to send the vendor the picture and ask if they remembered it, but I didn't get round to it, and I know they are not phal specialists (they breed other orchids, but buy in the Phals to sell on) so are not so likely to remember now. Maybe I should still try and see if they know.

I'm not too bothered. I have plenty of other NoiD Phals and this will still be one of my favorites of them.
