Default Haul from Bigleaf Orchids! Pics!

I made the glorious mistake of seeing what Peter currently had to offer for the summer and I went crazy!! I bought
a LARGE Phal. Samera with 4 spikes
Ld's Bear King 1 branched spike with basal keikei
Phal Sue Meyer 2 spikes and an additional plant in the pot
Phal. Yungho Gelblitz x KS Happy Eagle 2 spikes
Paphiopedilum delenatii

It's going to be a wonderful summer!!!! Worth every penny!!!!

Nice haul! I think it's that time of the year, plus in the northeast the weather has been so cooperative and conducive to buying plants to be shipped...

Great haul! Very nice Bear King. Love the color. I love Peter's plants. I have never been disappointed in any of my orders. I bought some seedlings from him last year. I think they may be mature enough to bloom next spring.

Interestingly the Bear King is supposed to be solid red and the flowers facing forward in the pic aren't they are a deep rust and you can see a little baring, but the flower turned to the right side is SOLID red! It's awesome. It's also the branched part of the spike that made the solid red bloom. It is a first bloom plant so I expect the consistency to increase. I know it's capable of making them. The fragrance of it is simply wonderful!

I also picked up a Phalaenopsis bellina (4N) 'Double Trouble' x self, from orchids limited also in spike! I really can't wait for it to bloom. The fragrance of bellina is unparalleled IMPO. My sister says "I think you have a problem!" But with orchids as wonderful as Peters.. How can you resist?!
