Now I wonder why the name bear.
I see it a lot on paphiopedilums that are bred in Asia.
Maybe related to breeder's name?
referring to the bigger than expected flower size, hence comparing them to the big animal?
is bear a symbol of luck or strength in the culture?
Anyone has a clue??
