This plant is one of my reasons for coming here to OB in the first place. It's one of my twin keikis and the only one that grew a spike. It's still small yet so you can imagine how excited I was for it to spike. The other one is growing a new leaf now. The mother plant has been growing a lot of roots and is in much better shape than it was. I couldn't remember what these blooms even looked like but here it is!

SOooo since I'm doing some updates today I'll have you know that this keikis brother did also bloom - just a couple flowers - a few months later as did the mother.

I never cut the spikes off any of them as they stayed green. Now the two keikis have extended the end of the spike, the plant from this thread is in bud with just two again. Meanwhile I noticed the mother plant has started extending the end of her spike as well!
