Here's some new mini Phals, one in bloom, two in bud.
The first is Dtps. Chingruey's Goldstaff, which is curious to me because I have another Chingruey's Goldstaff that is a compact plant, mine's peloric, and it had pinkish-purple candy stripes (also in terminal spike ). It's very interesting to me how different they are, in size especially, but here's the new mini. I'm loving the color! (And actually I'm crossing it with Phal. Brother Lawrence x Yellow Brite Lites )
The following two are in bud, mostly I want to share this first one because it's kind of mangled and mutated and i love it!
Phal. Lianher Cranberry 'Pink Diamond L.101-3'
Phal. Zuma's Pixie x Dtps. Sogo Berry
(AH, this guy had mealies. I smushed the adults and cleaned away the babies on the spike with alcohol)
So I'm happy to finally share some more blooms with you! Coloring isn't coming through perfectly well - I get impatient and want to hurry and post pics & end up using phone cam, not real cam - but you'll get the idea & I'll post more pics when all the buds open and I've got better shots.
Moving along, First we've got Phal. Zuma's Pixie x Dtps. Sogo Berry: (the pink coloration is a little bit darker than what is coming through in the pic, fyi, & the lip is a dark pinkish-purple, the white blushing (?) around the edge of the petals is a little more defined than I think the pictures show)
Here is my mutant spike Phal. Lianher Cranberry 'Pink Diamond'. This, while strange and contorted, with more blooms to come, is really a pretty & subtle little flower. I love the spotting behind the lip.
And I have to show Chingruey's Goldstaff again because they're such a cute bunch of flowers and they are SO SO sparkly!! The glitter of these flowers is more than any I've seen, the last pic gives you a good idea. All minis from Hausermann's and I'd recommend!
