Default 2 new additions to the family--mannii and cornu-cervi

i got these two yesterday morning from Orchids In Our Tropics

this is the pic of the two, the one of the left is the mannii and the one the right is the cornu-cervi. once i got home i repotted them into hydroton; im not good with moss... they are not in semi-hydro--i melted some holes on the btm of the tupperware.

also, i took the chance to have a look at the roots.the roots were very healthy. the roots on the cornu-cervi was thick... averaged at about 3/4 cm in diameter.

another interesting thing i found about the mannii is that it has slight pigmentation on the stem and on the leaf.

if lucky, i'll get some blooms by the time spring comes around ^^

Congrats on the new additions! They do look like nice healthy plants. I love the little mannii - it looks like it has freckles.

ya i actually didnt notice that until later in the evening when i was repotting them. i know that the cornu-cervi is definitely of blooming side, but the mannii is a still a little small to start blooming, am i correct? or is it already ready for itz first bloom?

Mannii is a mini. By the looks of your pic it may be BS. Love them both. Good haul!

From crown to leaf tip - the leaves are a little over 3 inches - I purchased it already spiked
Here is a past thread and a link to a picture of it - it's a cutie
