Trader Joe's Find of the week!
Default Trader Joe's Find of the week!

Now that the huge flood of large cymbidiums and some crappy large phals is gone, I find myself searching for a good quality orchid every time I go grocery shopping.

The other day, I spotted this small phal hybrid with one (but branching in three directions like a tree) heavily flowering spike and brought it home.

All three tips are showing lots more buds forming.
Sooo happy!!!!

If you look closely in the second photo, there is one flower that is actually two flowers fused together.
Kind of freaky.

I love these mini phals.
The wave of cymbidiums has ended at mine as well.
Unfortunately/luckily it was all stuff I've seen before.
That thing has alot of blooms.

I wonder what watching the fused two open woke be like.

I have one from TJ that I bought last year that is re-blooming and looks like yours. They look like they might have equestris in them

While it is a NOID, I can see the equestris in it.

Thank you!

Well, now I am experiencing major bud blast in a long time. lol

Now this plant looks like it is bald, but a few flowers near the tip are still holding on and there are still many more buds to open.

This was in 4 inch pot, so $12.99.
Usually smaller phals like this are in a smaller pot and they cost $5.99.

I am happy with the price though.
Even with the major blasting, there are still lots of flowers on three branching spikes.

Cute little thing.
