A very generous gift from Ryan last summer. First bloom for me and would have been better had the cats not broken the spike a few months back.

My cats love my orchids. There are two of them but they sit by the lights, they LOVE watering time, and enjoy nuzzling leaves and developing spikes. I had to make a special enclosed space for all the spiking ones this winter because of their naugtiness!

Oh dear, so far my cat has not shown any interest whatsoever in my orchids. He tends to favour softer foliage of cut flowers, but only certain varieties. Carnations are a favourite.
