Oh I see, the chinese names are a bit weird I agree... violacea isn't 'fluorescent' in any sense to me...

I think the P. gigantea chinese name suits well, but the amabilis and aphrodite name are so unglam (the common chinese names are grandmother and old lady respectively based on what Jumpluff said)

I think your names for the orchids suit most of them Jumpluff

Very interesting! I do believe that the table entailed a LOT of work whatever it's few shortcomings.

well itz definitely great that we actually get to meet the author of this piece of art ^^ and i agree with silberhaarig, a few shortcomings is nothing compared to the overall effort placed into researching this

recently i made a newer version of this phylogeny, and corrected some small mistakes(actually there were still have some...)

enjoy it...!
