Peloric Phals
Default

I do see peloric at TJ and HD, but not very often at all, like once or twice a year I would say.

I don't like the look of them. They just don't look like phals. lol
Yours look quite cute, mainly the coloring I guess.

I have a mini phal (magenta colored) from TJ. It was the "normal" one. Then the second blooming opened up half peloric and half normal.
It is not in bloom again. Lots and lots of buds, but only three opened. Two peloric and one normal.

How strange!!!

Do you use Superthrive? I've read some posts on OB where the peloric characteristic is due to use of hormones. All the blooms on my mini phal exhibit the same traits, so I assume it's safe to say that it's truly peloric.

I've seen some pictures of strange-looking peloric phals, but I like how mine maintains symmetry.
