Oh, this is going to be nice this year.
Not a great photo of the spike, but that's a main spike with five laterals and, as of this time, about 30 buds. Flower photo is from a previous blooming. I can't wait for this one! I'll post more when it blooms.
The cross is Phal, Candlelit Dreams 'Delightful'.

Is this a Baldan's Kaleidescope cousin? My BK 'Golden Treasure' likes to bloom like crazy too.
It looks like you're going to have a beautiful display of blooms very soon!

Sorry, I don't know the parentage of this cross. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet about it. Maybe some of the Phaleanopsis specialists could shed some light on this for us? |
