i figured out a new way to preserve phal flowers

so I was admiring my phal and looking at it thinking this was the best blooms I have ever seen on this particular plant I was like "to bad they are going to die" so I went online to find ways to preserve orchid flowers. at first I used the flower press method but since they are kind to 3d for that it and it like just fell apart and there was another method using resin but was just to complicated so I just pinched off a flower and layed it facing up in the microwave and turned it on for 2min. and it came out completely dry I was so happy but It wasn't as vibrant but still just as good.

Cool - I have I'm the past read some threads asking the best way to preserve orchid blooms ... I can imagine they don't press well for reason you stated ...
