Phal. Joy Micholitz-Ludde
This is a primary hybrid of the species P. Lueddemaniana and P. micholitzii. It's not the greatest flower and the markings aren't well defined. But the flowers are large for this type of phal, it's fragrant and blooms for months, so I do like it. It's one of three phals I have mounted on tree fern fiber. This one has grown much better than the other two.

They look so cool mounted. It's lovely Tucker. It is funny how even if they are not eye popping some times they just grow on you.
i have a Mannii it is not eye popping but I have always just loved this plant. It always grows well I have had it for years and it always blooms with 2 spikes on it and yes for months.
It is one of my favorite orchids.

Wow! The art of creating that wild look!
Love to see more photos of this orchid in the future.

Very cool phal! I like the coloring and exotic markings. Nice and different.

That is an AMAZING plant you have there! Do you have any close-ups of the flowers?

Looks awesome Tucker! I have two of these myself that I'm waiting yo rebloom. You've got a nice and floriferous one there for sure! Did it keep any fragrance from Luedde?
