Has it put out new blooms for you continuously? I have a grocery store mini orchid that looks like Phal. Yushan little pearl that I bought in late August and the flowers are still going strong! I'm surprised that I haven't lost a single bloom yet.

It has continuously bloomed on the same spikes since October, the last buds opened in the last couple weeks.

It is VERY dark purple with a thin white picotee. Actually, this photo is back lit, otherwise the flowers are close to aubergine, just slightly redder.

I do love those phals. Just when I get impatient one of them sends up a beautiful spray and I forget about stressing over the cattleyas. Instant gratification.

Thanks everyone. I can't say I claim credit for what you see, but I hope it re-blooms well for me next time around!

Nice one, mine has had a crown rot, was saved, and made a basal growth. Sturdy they are!

One side note on the synonym name, it's ELEGANT DEBORAH, not Elegant Deborah. And there's no more Doritaenopsis, it's all Phalaenopsis.
