I think you may have a spike! If it was a root I think it would be showing the white velum by this stage of growth. May be wrong tho....Jean

I'm thinking spike too, it doesn't really show the classic"mitten" shape but it really doesn't look like a root so I'm thinking positive! Thanks for the reply!

Yes it is blurry. Taken kinda close with a tablet without adjustments to the settings.
