I would say it's a Golden Treasure. Very nice too! Love the sunset colors and the veins.

I haven't had any luck with Phals in the past so I hope not to kill this one!

Orchid of the Week Library: Phal. Baldan's Kaleidoscope 'Golden Treasure' AM/AOS
Phalaenopsis orchid - Baldan's Kaleidoscope

Tommy, this is an easy Phal to take care of. You should be fine with it. I grow mine in sphagnum moss and water it every two weeks, mist the aerial roots almost everyday before leaving for work.

So, I had no idea mine was a P. Baldan's Kaleidoscope 'Golden Treasure' AM/AOS. Thanks all for the more complete ID.
To my knowledge this is the first NOID orchid on Orchid Board to get a specific clonal name assigned to it with good confidence. Thanks guys!!

I repotted mine in bark for now. No aerial roots yet. Upon taking it out of the pot it had few roots, more of those god(tm) forsaken styrofoam peanuts then anything...

In a locally owned garden center. No way would home depot or lowes have this one. They always get the plain whites or purples.

This plant never quits. I bought one in bloom last January and the bloom continued until mid October. Now, two months later I've a half dozen buds just opening on the old spike AND a new spike emerging from the base.

Update:
It died. Un-potted it, no roots. I have to check roots next time before buying. Then again I've killed a number of Phals in the past 4 years....

It's not dead just because the roots are gone. You can grow new roots on it. Try a little rooting hormone, put it in a small clay pot with a little moist sphag, and bag the leaves.

This plant (I believe it's Baldan's Kaleidoscope 'Golden Treasure') is extremely vigorous. All it needs is the merest chance and it will come back for you.
