This phal... is intent on killing itself.

I'm obviously doing something very wrong and I don't know what.

I got out about a year ago as a robust plant. Since then it exploded in growth, 6 new leaves and an explosion of new roots.
Then, the roots aborted. The leaves yellowed and dropped.
It's repeated this cycle 4 times now.

It's now in its very last leg and I'm really frustrated. I consider phals generally easy. And my others are doing smashingly. This one...
Anyway... the situation as it is now. I don't know the status of the roots but there was a bundle last I checked. However no new ones.
It's sending up two basal keikis, and just recently the growing crown detached from the base.
I've got it in a humid environment, pretty stable warm temps. I'm hoping the crown sprouts root nubbins.

Any idea what I am doing wrong? It was on the same schedule as my other phals... same media, fertiliser, light...
I really don't wanna lose this one...

IMO, repot the keiki when it's ready to be detached from the mother plant and hope that it grows better than the mother plant did.

Do you have a name for it? Or failing that a photo or description of the flower? Different species do have different habits, so if we can find out what it (or its ancestors) are that might help.

No name. It's definitely a purple Martin or kenneth shubert type hybrid.
Small "blue" lavender flowers, sequentially blooming, very light green leaves.
I've only got one very low quality photo from when I bought it.

OK, so it's a mix of Phal/Doritis pulcherimma and Phal violacea...

Phalaenopsis pulcherrima anglais

Doritis Pulcherrima The little Orchid that defied my negligence!

Phalaenopsis violacea anglais

Phalaenopsis pulcherrima in situ

That helped alot actually.
I'm not sure but from what I gathered, more heat, more light, and perhaps a different potting medium.
