I got both of these guys today but it's one of the coldest days so far this winter. I woke up to 22 degrees outside. Thankfully FedEx will email you when you get your delivery and I was able to run home to get it unpacked.

I order both of these guys from Hausermann and they are in wonderful condition. They were repotted after work. The Taida is in repotme dark phal mix while the Dtps is in S/H. I wanted to used a different bottle for the Dtps but it broke while I was trying to cut it to the right side.

I'm a little worried that the cold might have damaged them but I haven't seen anything so far. There was a heat pack in the box but it takes so long to get deliveries out here that the pack was all used up.

This package brightened my day since work wasn't very fun today.

I killed off my first Tadia so I had to get a replacement one. Since it looked so lonely in the "cart" I had to get the other one too.

Hausermann's is the best....I live nearby and have had some plants shipped to me, even though I'm close and they always arrive packed well. Although I realize you're much further away. Very nice colors, I will look for the next time I visit Hausermann's.

Beautiful flowers. You have a happy healthy plant that arrived with buds intact.
Its always tricky to drill holes on glass for S/H ....I watched a couple of videos on YouTube before I got it right.

Well I lost one bud and another one is heading that direction too. These are on the second spike and the buds are turning purple with the stem turning yellow soon after.

I think I'm getting that bud blasting that people are talking about when they get too cold. No more ordering orchids until it warms up. With it being 9:30 at night and the thermometer reading 26, that might not be for a few months.

*Starts sulking in a corner*

Is the purple bud and yellow stem bud blast? I've never have had it happen before.
